Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking, has officially released the recruitment notification (Advt No: HRD/Rectt./Advt./2025-26/18) for Management Trainees (MT) through GATE 2026.
The online application portal is now active as of March 20, 2026, and will remain open until April 13, 2026.
EIL is looking for young, energetic, and ambitious engineering graduates in core disciplines to join its world-class team. This recruitment is specifically for two categories: MT-Construction and MT-Other than Construction. Selected candidates will undergo one year of training with a generous stipend before being absorbed as regular engineers.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engg.) in relevant disciplines with a minimum of 65% marks.
- GATE Requirement: Must have appeared for and cleared GATE 2026 in the corresponding paper code.
- Passing Year: Only candidates who passed out in 2025 or are passing in 2026 are eligible.
- Age Limit (as of July 1, 2026):
- General: 25 Years
- OBC (NCL): 28 Years
- SC/ST: 30 Years
- PwD (General): 35 Years
Salary & Benefits
- During Training: Monthly stipend of ₹60,000 + Accommodation & Transport.
- On Absorption: Placed in the pay scale of ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000 (Level E-1).
- CTC: Approximately ₹20.10 – ₹21.00 Lakhs per annum upon successful completion of training.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on GATE 2026 Score (normalized marks).
- Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to Delhi for the final rounds.
- Final Merit: Prepared based on a weightage of GATE Score, GD, and Interview marks.
