Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

1. Educational Qualifications

• Full-Time Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology (B.E. / B.Tech.) or equivalent in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Computer Science engineering branches from a recognized University or Institution.
• Passing Marks Requirement: Minimum 60% marks in aggregate across all years/semesters for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and relaxed to 50% marks for SC/ST category candidates.

2. Post-Qualification Work Experience

• Must possess a minimum of 12 months of cumulative post-qualification relevant work experience (exclusive of any training or apprenticeship period).
• Required Skills & Exposure: Hands-on background in control systems, basic familiarity with communication protocols, erection, testing & commissioning supervision, reading electrical schematics, wiring charts, and handling calibration/testing test equipment. Prior exposure to naval shipboard systems or defense aerospace testing is considered an added advantage.

3. Age Limit (As on 1st August 2026)

• Maximum Age Limit: 32 Years for Unreserved / EWS candidates.

Salary Structure & Compensation Package

• Fixed Tenure Remuneration:
  • 1st Year: ₹84,000/- per month (Consolidated)
  • 2nd Year: ₹88,000/- per month (Consolidated)
• Medical Benefits: Reimbursement of premium for a Mediclaim Policy of ₹5 Lakhs covering self, spouse, and dependent children. No additional DA, HRA, or regular scale perks are applicable due to the consolidated tenure nature of the engagement.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting Mechanism: If the number of eligible applications received is high, BHEL will shortlist candidates at a ratio of up to 1:10 against the vacancy count based on aggregate percentage marks obtained in the qualifying engineering degree.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview round.
3. Document Verification: Final selection is subject to strict verification of original credentials, academic mark sheets, and experience certificates.
