1. Educational Qualifications & Post-Qualification Experience (As on 1st July 2026)

• Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production) [Code: CPCL01]:
  • Qualification: 3-year Diploma in Chemical / Petroleum / Petrochemical Engineering or B.Sc. with Chemistry as a major subject from a recognized Institute/University with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC candidates against reserved vacancies).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in operation/maintenance of continuous process units in Refining / Chemical / Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Gas Processing industries.
• Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical) [Code: CPCL02]:
  • Qualification: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/PwBD candidates against reserved slots).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in maintenance of rotary and stationary equipment in industrial environments.

2. Age Limit (As on 1st July 2026)

• Maximum Age Limit: 30 Years for Unreserved/EWS candidates.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection methodology is split into two rigorous stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): Tentatively scheduled for September/October 2026 at Chennai. The objective multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam comprises 120 questions carrying 120 marks with a duration of 2 hours:
