1. Age Limit Specifications (As on 1st January 2027)

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years
  • Maximum Age: 32 Years

  • For Geologist / Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrogeology) / Assistant Geologist / Assistant Hydrogeologist: Master’s degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Geo-Exploration, Mineral Exploration, Engineering Geology, Marine Geology, Earth Science and Resource Management, Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies, Petroleum Geosciences, or Hydrogeology from a recognized university.
  • For Geophysicist / Scientist ‘B’ (Geophysics) / Assistant Geophysicist: M.Sc. in Physics, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Integrated M.Sc. (Exploration Geophysics), Applied Geophysics, Marine Geophysics, or M.Sc. (Tech.) Applied Geophysics.
  • For Chemist / Scientist ‘B’ (Chemical) / Assistant Chemist: Master’s degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Hydro-Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry.
