Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), Bangalore, under the Ministry of Railways, invites applications for apprenticeship training in various technical trades. Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Passed 10th Class (Matriculation) with minimum 50% aggregate marks AND possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade issued by NCVT.
  • Age Limit (as of 28.02.2026):
    • Minimum: 15 Years
    • Maximum: 24 Years
    • (Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC).

Selection Process

  • No Written Exam: Selection is based on the Merit List prepared using the percentage of marks obtained in the 10th standard.
  • Tie-Breaker: In case of equal marks, the older candidate will be preferred.

How to Apply (Offline Mode)

  1. Download the application form from the RWF official website or the link below.
  2. Fill out the form and attach self-attested copies of 10th marksheet, ITI certificate, and Caste certificate.
  3. Pay the ₹100 application fee via Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft (DD) in favor of “Principal Financial Adviser/Rail Wheel Factory.” (SC/ST/PH/Women are exempt from fee).
  4. Send the application to:The Assistant Personnel Officer, Personnel Department, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore – 560064.
  5. You can also drop the application in the Drop Box kept at the RWF office.

  • Notification Date: 28 February 2026
  • Last Date to Apply: 01 April 2026 (05:00 PM)
  • Merit List Display: Expected within 45 days of the closing date.
