The Spices Board of India has announced a recruitment drive to engage Spices Extension Trainees (SET) at various field and regional offices in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Candidates who meet the educational criteria are invited to appear for a walk-in written test and computer proficiency test.

Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry / Botany / Microbiology / Biotechnology from a recognized University/Institute.
- Skills: Working knowledge of computers.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the date of the walk-in test.
- Category: Exclusively for SC/ST candidates.
How to Apply (Walk-in Process)
- Download: Visit the official website and download the recruitment notification (No. 49/2025).
- Form: Fill out the application form provided as Annexure-II in the notification.
- Documents: Carry the signed form, a recent passport-size photograph, original certificates (ID proof, Age proof, Caste certificate, Educational certificates), and one set of self-attested photocopies.
- Walk-in: Report at the designated venue (specified in Annexure-I of the official notification) by 10:00 AM for document verification.
