NIT Calicut Summer Internship Programme (SIP) 2026 – Apply Online for Research Projects

The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) has officially invited applications for its Summer Internship Programme (SIP) 2026. This program offers students from recognized institutions across India a prestigious opportunity to work on short-term research and academic projects under the guidance of expert faculty at NIT Calicut.

• Organization: National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC)
• Mode: Offline, Online, or Hybrid
• Duration: 30 Days or 60 Days (ending by 15 July 2026)
• Fee Structure:
  • 60 Days: ₹5,900 (incl. GST)
  • 30 Days: ₹3,540 (incl. GST)
  • Registration Fee: ₹118 (Non-refundable)

Eligibility Criteria

• Undergraduate (UG): Students currently in the 2nd/3rd year of B.Tech/B.E., B.Arch (4th/6th/8th semester), or 2nd year B.Sc.
• Postgraduate (PG): Students completing their 1st year of M.Tech/M.E./M.Sc./M.Plan/MBA/MA/M.S.
• Academic Record: Minimum 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 65% aggregate marks up to the latest published results.
• Status: Must be regular full-time students. (NIT Calicut students are not eligible).

• Registration Start Date: 14 March 2026
• Registration End Date: 23 March 2026
• Selection Result Communication: 06 April 2026
• Internship Fee Confirmation: Deadline 09 April 2026 (02:00 PM)

How to Apply

1. Visit the official portal: nitc.ac.in.
2. Prepare a single PDF containing:
   • One-page Resume.
   • One-page Statement of Purpose (SoP).
   • Bonafide Certificate from your Head of Institution.
   • Academic mark sheets & consolidated grade card.
   • Institute ID Card.
3. Ensure you have your APAAR ID (can be generated via DigiLocker).
4. Fill the online form and pay the ₹118 registration fee.
