The MPESB (formerly MP Vyapam) has announced the schedule for the Madhya Pradesh Pre-Agriculture Test (PAT) 2026. This state-level entrance exam is mandatory for students aspiring to build a career in agriculture and allied sciences. If you have completed or are appearing for your 12th-grade exams in the Science or Agriculture stream, you can apply online starting March 24.
The exam is scheduled to commence on May 8, 2026, in multiple shifts across the state.

Eligibility Criteria & Courses Offered
Candidates must be Indian citizens. While candidates from all states can apply, MP domicile candidates receive preference in seat allotment.

- Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for most courses (Note: B.Sc. Forestry may have specific age criteria per university rules, typically 17–25 years).

Exam Pattern 2026
- Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT) / Offline (Refer to final admit card).
- Total Questions: 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Total Marks: 200 Marks.
- Duration: 3 Hours (180 Minutes).
- Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answer. No Negative Marking (as per current MPESB entrance norms).
How to Apply Online
- Visit the official MPESB portal: esb.mp.gov.in.
- Profile Registration: If you are a new user, complete the “Candidate Profiling” (B-Profile) first.
- Login: Use your Profile ID and Password to log in.
- Fill Form: Select the “Pre-Agriculture Test (PAT) – 2026” link and fill in the course preferences.
- Upload Documents: Upload scanned photo, signature, and thumb impression as per the template.
- Payment: Pay the fee via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or MP Online Kiosk.
- Submit: Download the final submission receipt for counseling.
