Vacancy Details & Pay Scale (7th CPC)
The vacancies are distributed across several departments including Management, Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences. The salary follows the Central Government’s Pay Matrix for academic staff.

Detailed Eligibility Criteria (As per UGC Regulations 2018)
CUHP strictly follows the UGC Minimum Qualifications for the appointment of teachers and other academic staff.
1. Assistant Professor
- Educational Qualification: A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Mandatory Requirement: The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.
- Ph.D. Exemption: Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 are exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.
2. Associate Professor
- Academic Record: A good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
- Experience: A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution.
- Research Output: A minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy-five (75).
3. Professor
- Qualification: An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant/Associate/Professor or research experience at an equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions.
- Research Output: At least ten research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of One hundred and twenty (120).
