The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), under the Ministry of Defence, has invited applications to engage various Medical, Para Medical, and Non-Medical staff on a contractual basis. These positions are open for both Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Civilians for a period of one year (renewable).

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting: Based on the application and experience.
2. Interview: Candidates meeting the Qualitative Requirements (QR) will be called for an interview.
3. Training: Selected candidates must undergo 10 days of unpaid On-the-Job Training (OJT).

How to Apply

ECHS recruitment is strictly offline. Follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website: echs.gov.in.
2. Go to the “Employment Opportunities” section and download the Standard Application Form.
3. Fill out the form and attach self-attested copies of:
   • Matriculation/10th & 12th Certificates
   • Degree/Diploma & Year-wise Marksheets
   • Valid Registration Certificate (for Medical/Paramedical)
   • Experience Certificates (Mandatory)
   • Discharge Book & PPO (for Ex-Servicemen)
   • PAN Card & Aadhaar Card
4. Submit the application in duplicate (two sets) to the concerned OIC Station HQ (ECHS Cell) via Registered Post or by hand.
