HPCL is looking for bright, result-oriented engineering graduates and experienced professionals to join its diverse workforce. Eligibility Criteria (as of April 15, 2026)
1. Educational Qualification:
- Engineers: 4-year full-time regular B.E. / B.Tech in the respective discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- QC Officer: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Analytical/Physical/Organic/Inorganic) with 60% marks.
- Finance: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified.
- HR: Two-year full-time Post Graduate degree/MBA in HR/Personnel Management.
2. Age Limit:
- The base age limit is 25 years for Engineers and 27 years for Officers.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 10 years for PwBD.
Selection Process
The selection process is multi-stage and rigorous:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): * General Aptitude: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Intellectual Potential (Reasoning).
- Technical Knowledge: Questions related to the specific qualifying degree/discipline.
- Group Task (GT): Shortlisted candidates will be invited for group discussions.
- Personal Interview (PI): Final interaction with the selection board.
- Final Merit: Prepared using a weightage of CBT (85%), Group Task (5%), and Personal Interview (10%).
