  • Performance: The current CGPA (up to the last completed semester) must be equivalent to a First Division.

Mandatory Application Steps

Unlike many other internships, IIT Indore requires a pre-approval step before you submit the official form:

  1. Select a Mentor: Browse the IIT Indore Faculty List to find a professor whose research matches your interests.
  2. Obtain Consent: You must receive written consent (email consent is acceptable) from the faculty mentor before applying.
  3. Prepare Documents: You will need to upload:
    • Written consent from the IIT Indore Faculty Mentor.
    • Valid College ID Card.
    • Academic transcripts/scorecards showing current CGPA.
    • Recent photograph and signature.

Fees & Accommodation

  • Internship Fee: Selected candidates will receive a payment link in April 2026. The fee is ₹3,000 per month.
  • Accommodation: Available in hostels subject to availability. Charges are roughly ₹3,000 per month + 12% GST.
  • Food: Available on a payment basis (approx. ₹115–₹200 per day for three meals).
