Discipline-Wise Vacancy & Eligibility
1. Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’
- Disciplines: Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical, and Physics.
- Educational Qualification: * M.E / M.Tech or equivalent in relevant discipline with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5/10).
- B.E / B.Tech or equivalent must also be completed with a minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters).
- Age Limit: 18 to 35 Years (as of April 10, 2026).
2. Medical Officer ‘SC’
- Educational Qualification: MBBS from a recognized university + 2 years of relevant experience.
- Age Limit: 18 to 35 Years.
Selection Process
The selection process for ISRO Scientist/Engineer posts is rigorous:
- Written Test: Candidates will be screened based on an objective type written test focused on core engineering/medical concepts.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates (based on written test performance) will be called for an interview.
- Final Merit: Based 100% on the marks obtained in the Interview, provided the candidate meets the qualifying criteria.
Salary & Benefits
- Pay Scale: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (Level 10).
- Total Emoluments: Approx. ₹1,00,000 – ₹1,10,000 per month (including HRA, DA, and Transport Allowance).
