The Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), under the Department of Atomic Energy, has officially released the recruitment notification (Advt. No. NFC/01/2026) for 18 Medical and Para-Medical vacancies.
The online application process started on March 21, 2026, and will remain open until April 18, 2026.
NFC is inviting applications from qualified Indian citizens for various Group A, B, and C positions across its units in Hyderabad (Telangana), Tuticorin (Tamil Nadu), and Rawatbhata (Rajasthan). These are permanent Central Government roles offering prestigious careers in India’s nuclear energy sector.

Selection Process
- For Scientific Officer & Scientific Assistants: Selection is primarily based on a Personal Interview. If the number of applicants is high, a Screening Test (75 MCQs) will be held to shortlist candidates.
- For Nurse, Pharmacist & Technician: A three-stage process:
- Stage 1 (Preliminary Test): 50 MCQs (Math, Science, GA) for 1 hour.
- Stage 2 (Advanced Test): 50 MCQs related to the specific discipline for 2 hours.
- Stage 3 (Skill Test): Qualifying nature (Go/No-Go basis).

- Q: What is the application fee?
- A: ₹500 for Scientific Officer and ₹150 for all other posts (except Pharmacist/Technician, which are ₹100). SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and all Women candidates are fully exempted.
- Q: Is there negative marking?
- A: Yes. In the screening and written tests, 3 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
- Q: Where is the job location?
- A: Selected candidates may be posted at NFC Hyderabad, Zirconium Complex (Tuticorin), or NFC-Kota (Rawatbhata).
- Q: Is registration with a medical/nursing council mandatory?
- A: Yes, valid registration with the respective Central or State Council is mandatory as of the last date of application.

- Register using a valid email ID and verify it via OTP.
- Fill out the application form with personal and educational details.
- Upload your photo, signature, and relevant certificates (HSC, Degree/Diploma, Registration).
