The Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), under the Department of Atomic Energy, has released a fresh recruitment notification (Advt. No. NFC/01/2026) for 18 Medical and Para-Medical vacancies across its units in Hyderabad (Telangana), Tuticorin (Tamil Nadu), and Rawatbhata (Rajasthan).
Online applications opened on March 21, 2026, and will close on April 18, 2026.
NFC is inviting applications from qualified Indian citizens for various Group A, B, and C positions. These are permanent central government roles offering prestigious careers in India’s nuclear energy sector. While the vacancy count is specialized, the pay scales are highly attractive, following the 7th CPC.

Selection Process
- For Scientific Officer & Sci. Assistants: Selection is primarily based on a Personal Interview. If many applications are received, a Screening Test (75 MCQs) will be conducted to shortlist candidates.
- For Nurse, Pharmacist & Technician: A three-stage process:
- Stage 1 (Preliminary Test): 50 MCQs (Math, Science, GA) for 1 hour.
- Stage 2 (Advanced Test): 50 MCQs related to the specific trade/discipline for 2 hours.
- Stage 3 (Skill Test): Qualifying nature (Go/No-Go basis).

- Q: What is the application fee?
- A: ₹500 for Scientific Officer (Post 12601) and ₹150 for all other posts. SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and all Women candidates are fully exempted from the fee.
- Q: Where will the exams be held?
- A: Typically, examinations and interviews are conducted in Hyderabad, but specific details will be mentioned on the admit card sent via email.
- Q: Is there negative marking in the exam?
- A: Yes. For every correct answer, 3 marks are awarded, and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
- Q: Can I apply for more than one post?
- A: Yes, but you must submit separate online applications for each post.

- Register with your email and mobile number to receive an OTP.
- Fill in the application form and upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and essential certificates (MBBS/Nursing/Pharmacy registration is mandatory).
