The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially announced the exam dates for the Sub-Inspector (SI) / Platoon Commander Combined Competitive Exam 2025-26. The written examination is scheduled to be held on April 5 and 6, 2026.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 1,015 vacancies across various departments, including Armed Police (AP), Intelligence Bureau (IB), and Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC).

The wait for thousands of police aspirants in Rajasthan is finally over. RPSC has confirmed that the SI and Platoon Commander written exams will take place in the first week of April. To ensure smooth logistics, the commission will first release the Exam City Intimation Slip followed by the formal Hall Ticket. This year, the commission has also introduced a specific rule change regarding the OMR sheet to enhance transparency and accuracy.
Detailed Exam Schedule & Shift Timings
The examination will consist of two papers conducted over two days. Each paper is of 2 hours duration and carries 200 marks.

Important Note: As per the latest RPSC guidelines, candidates will be provided an additional 10 minutes at the end of each paper to ensure all questions have been attempted or the “fifth option” (for unattempted questions) has been correctly filled.
How to Check Exam City and Download Admit Card
Candidates can access their details through the SSO Rajasthan portal using their unique credentials.
- Visit Portal: Go to sso.rajasthan.gov.in or rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Login: Enter your SSO ID and Password.
- Recruitment Portal: Navigate to the “Recruitment Portal” section.
- City Intimation (from March 29): Click on the link for “Exam City Details” to see your allotted district.
- Download Admit Card (from April 2): Click on the “Get Admit Card” link, select the SI Exam, and download the PDF.
- Print: Take a clear color printout of the admit card.
Mandatory Instructions for Exam Day
- Reporting Time: Entry into the examination center will be allowed only until 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam. No candidate will be permitted entry after the gate closes.
- Original ID Proof: You must carry a valid original photo ID (Aadhaar Card with a clear photo is preferred). Other valid IDs include a Driving License, Passport, or Voter ID.
- Photograph: Affix a recent passport-sized color photograph on the admit card as per the instructions.
- Negative Marking: There will be a deduction of 1/3 mark for every incorrect answer.

Rajasthan Police SI Selection Process 2026
The recruitment involves a rigorous four-stage process:
- Written Examination: 400 Marks (Qualifying: 36% in each paper, 40% aggregate).
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 100 Marks (Qualifying: 50% marks).
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Height and Chest standards verification.
- Interview / Aptitude Test: 50 Marks.
