Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification (Post-Wise):
- Junior Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university + Typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on a computer.
- Library Attendant: 10+2 (Intermediate) passed + Certificate Course in Library Science/Library & Information Science.
- Laboratory Attendant: 10th pass with Science subjects from a recognized board.
- Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree with relevant subjects + 2 years of experience in the maintenance of scientific instruments.
- Senior Assistant: Graduate/Post-Graduate degree + 3 years of relevant administrative experience.
- Librarian / Director (PE): Master’s Degree in the relevant field with 55% marks + NET/Ph.D. qualification as per UGC norms.
2. Age Limit (as of March 26, 2026):
- Junior Assistant/Attendants: Maximum 32 years.
- Senior Assistant: Maximum 35 years.
- Librarian/Director: As per UGC/University of Delhi norms.
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process
The selection will be based on the following stages:
- Written Examination: Objective and descriptive tests to evaluate general awareness, reasoning, and subject knowledge.
- Skill Test / Practical Test: Mandatory for posts like Junior Assistant (Typing) and Laboratory staff (Practical handling).
- Interview: Only for high-level academic posts (Librarian and Director of Physical Education).
