Eligibility Criteria (as of January 1, 2026)

1. Educational Qualification:

  • Assistant Manager (General): Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognized university.
  • Assistant Manager (IT): B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics OR an MCA degree with 55% marks.
  • Manager: Graduate degree plus a minimum of 3 years of officer-level experience in a Bank or Financial Institution.
  • Senior Manager: Graduate degree plus 5 years of relevant experience in a middle-management role.

2. Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 21 Years.
  • Maximum: 40 Years.
  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC of Uttar Pradesh and as per state government rules for other categories.

Selection Process

The selection process is designed to test both general aptitude and professional knowledge:

  1. Online Written Examination: A Computer-Based Test (CBT) covering:
    • Reasoning and Mental Ability
    • Quantitative Aptitude
    • General Awareness (with focus on UP Economy)
    • English/Hindi Language
    • Professional Knowledge (for Specialist posts)
  2. Personal Interview: Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for an interview in Lucknow. The interview carries a weightage of 20%.
