UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Prelims Result 2026 Out – Download Shortlisted Candidates Merit List PDF

The Union Public Service Commission has released the list of qualified candidates for the Stage-II Main examination of the Combined Geo-Scientist 2026 recruitment drive. This selection process aims to fill approximately 85 vacancies across the Geological Survey of India (GSI) and Central Ground Water Board (CGWB).

How to Check UPSC Geo-Scientist Prelims Result

Visit the official UPSC website: www.upsc.gov.in.
In the “What’s New” section, click on the link: “Result: Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination, 2026”.
A PDF file will open containing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates.
Use Ctrl + F to search for your roll number.
If your roll number is present, you have successfully qualified for the Stage-II Main Exam.

Important Note on Marks

As per UPSC policy, the individual marks and cut-off scores for the Preliminary Exam will only be uploaded on the website after the final results are declared (following the interview stage).

What’s Next for Qualified Candidates?

Mains Admit Card: Will be released 3 weeks before the June 20 exam.
DAF (Detailed Application Form): Shortlisted candidates must stay tuned for the release of the DAF, which is a mandatory requirement for the next stages of selection.
