2. Eligibility Criteria (As of May 13, 2026)

A. Educational Qualification

• Junior Executive (E0): 3-year full-time Diploma in relevant Engineering branch (Chemical/Petrochemical/Mechanical) OR 3-year full-time B.Sc. with Chemistry.
  • Note: Candidates with higher degrees like B.E./B.Tech are NOT eligible for E0 posts.
• Assistant Engineer (E1) / Engineer (E2): 4-year full-time B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, etc.) with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).
• Finance (E1/E2): Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI.
• Fire & Safety (E0): 3-year Diploma or Science Graduate + Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License + 6-month Fire/Safety certificate.

B. Experience Requirements

• E0 & E1 Grades: Nil (Freshers can apply).
• E2 Grade: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience.
• E3/E5 Grades: 6 to 12 years of experience as per the role.

C. Age Limit

• Junior Executive / Assistant Engineer: Max 25 Years.
• Engineer (E2): Max 29 Years.
• Senior Manager (E5): Max 42 Years.

3. Salary & Pay Scale

HRRL offers one of the most competitive pay structures in the oil and gas sector.

4. Selection Process

The selection methodology depends on the grade applied for:

1. For E0, E1, E2 Grades:
   • Computer Based Test (CBT): General Aptitude + Technical Knowledge (No Negative Marking).
   • Skill Test: (Only for E0 – Fire & Safety).
   • Group Task / Group Discussion: (Only for E1 & E2).
   • Personal Interview: Final assessment round.
2. For E3 & E5 Grades:
   • Direct Personal Interview (Technical + Behavioral Competency).
