Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications & Experience (As on 01.07.2026)

Candidates must possess a Full-Time Regular Diploma in engineering from a recognized AICTE/UGC-approved institution, alongside mandatory industrial background requirements:

• Process Technician / Operator (Chemical): Full-time Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology with minimum required aggregate marks, supplemented by at least 1 year of post-qualification work experience or 1 year of apprenticeship training in a relevant process industry.
• Technician / Operator (Mechanical): Full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with mandatory 1 year of post-qualification experience or apprenticeship.
• Technician (Electrical): Full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electrical Power System / Electrical Engineering (Industrial Control) with 1 year of relevant work experience or apprenticeship training.

2. Age Limit (As on 1st July 2026)

• General / EWS Candidates: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 25 Years.
• Age Relaxations:
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years relaxation (Upper limit up to 28 years)

Salary Structure, Grade & Emoluments

Selection Process

The multi-stage selection pipeline is structured to assess technical competence and practical aptitude:

1. Stage 1 – Computer-Based Test (CBT): An objective-type online examination consisting of multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks (split between Domain/Technical Knowledge and General Aptitude) with a duration of 120 minutes.
2. Stage 2 – Skill / Proficiency Test (SPT): A rigorous practical test conducted at respective refinery plants; this stage is strictly qualifying in nature for candidates shortlisted through the CBT merit list.
3. Stage 3 – Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Final medical fitness clearance evaluated by designated corporate medical officers before formal appointment.
