OSSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 192 Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant & Ayush Asst Posts

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has invited online applications for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Specialist Recruitment 2026. This recruitment drive is aimed at filling Group-C technical positions across various departments of the Odisha Government.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard (+2 Science) or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Language: Ability to read, write, and speak Odia is mandatory. Candidates must have passed Odia as a subject in High School.
• Age Limit (as of 01.01.2026):
  • Minimum: 21 Years
  • Maximum: 38 Years
  • Age relaxation as per Govt rules for SC, ST, SEBC, and Women candidates.

Selection Process

1. Preliminary Exam: Qualifying nature (MCQ based).
2. Main Written Exam: Technical paper based on the specific post.
3. Certificate Verification: Final merit list will be prepared based on Main exam scores.

Application Fee

• All Categories: NIL (Exempted) — As per Odisha Govt policy, no fee is charged for applying.

How to Apply (Online Mode)

1. Visit the official OSSC website: www.ossc.gov.in.
2. Click on the “Apply Online” tab.
3. New users must complete the User Registration to generate a Username and Password.
4. Fill in the application form and upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and +2 certificates.
5. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

Important Dates

• Online Registration Starts: 07 March 2026
• Last Date to Register: 06 April 2026
• Submission Deadline: 09 April 2026
• Exam Date: May/June 2026 (Tentative)
