Eligibility Criteria & Essential Parameters
1. Age Limit Parameters (As on 1st August 2026)
- Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: 27 Years (Candidates must have been born between 2nd August 1999 and 1st August 2008).

2. Educational Qualifications (As on 7th October 2026)
- For LDC, JSA, and standard DEO posts: Candidates must have passed Class 12th (Intermediate) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- For DEO (Grade ‘A’) in specific ministries: Must have passed Class 12th in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized board.
Multi-Stage Selection Process Structure
- Tier-I (Computer-Based Examination): Objective multiple-choice test consisting of 4 sections (English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness) with 25 questions each (50 marks per section). New Rule: Sectional timings of 15 minutes per subject have been introduced.
- Tier-II (Computer-Based Examination): Advanced objective paper featuring mathematical abilities, reasoning, English language, general awareness, and computer knowledge modules, along with skill/typing tests.
- Skill Test / Typing Test: Mandatory typing speed evaluation for LDC/JSA (English: 35 wpm / Hindi: 30 wpm using Mangal Font exclusively for Hindi scripts) and data entry proficiency checks for DEO roles.
- Document Verification: Final verification of original educational credentials, category proofs, and identity documents.
