Q1: Is there an application fee for the Coal India Internship?
A: No. The application process on the PMIS portal is completely free of cost for all candidates.

A: No. This is a temporary internship for skill development. However, the experience and certificate from a Maharatna company like Coal India will give you a massive advantage in future PSU recruitments.
Q3: Is it mandatory to have a bank account seeded with Aadhaar?
A: Yes. Since the stipend and joining grant are paid through DBT, your bank account must be linked to your Aadhaar number.
Q4: Can I apply for the Kolkata location if I live in Assam?
A: Yes, the internship is open to all Indian citizens. However, no separate TA/DA or accommodation is provided by CIL, so choose your location wisely.
