The institute is seeking high-caliber academics for Assistant Professor positions (Grade I and II) in technical and mathematical disciplines.
IIIT Raichur, an Institute of National Importance, is inviting applications for 08 tentative faculty positions. This recruitment focuses on expanding the departments of Computer Science & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, and Mathematics. The selection is based on a rigorous evaluation of research contributions, followed by a personal interview.

Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on academic record, relevance of Ph.D. work, research publications (specifically SCI journals), and patents.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview (Travel reimbursement for AC II-tier train fare is provided for outstation candidates).

- Q: Are these regular positions?
- A: Yes, these are regular faculty positions with benefits benchmarked with Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI) and 7th CPC guidelines.
- Q: What if I don’t have an SCI journal publication?
- A: SCI (Science Citation Index) publications are a mandatory requirement for shortlisting for these faculty roles.
