Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• General Posts (Civil, AR, SAR CPL, TGSP, SPF, Deputy Jailor): Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or any equivalent qualification awarded by any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as on 1st July 2026.
• Station Fire Officer: Must possess a Graduation degree from a recognized university, alongside holding a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving Licence as of the date of notification.

2. Age Limit (As on 1st July 2026)

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 25 Years
• Note on Age Relaxation: In accordance with GO Ms No. regulating uniformed services, the Telangana Government has extended the upper age limit by an additional 5 years to widen aspirant participation. Further category-based relaxations for SC, ST, BC, EWS, and ex-servicemen apply as per state government policy.
