Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (As on 01 July 2026)

  • General Candidates: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 40 years. (Candidates must be born between 02 July 1986 and 01 July 2005).
  • Age Relaxation: Candidates from the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/State Govt employees of UP) are eligible for an upper age relaxation of 5 years (Max age limit 45 years).
  • Principal (Govt. Inter College) Post: Minimum age is 30 years and maximum is 40 years.

2. Educational Qualification

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university in India is the mandatory requirement for most posts.
  • Certain specialized posts (e.g., Law Officer, Assistant Commissioner) may require specific professional degrees (LLB, etc.).

  1. OTR Registration: Before applying, you must have an OTR (One Time Registration) number. If you haven’t done this, visit otr.pariksha.nic.in at least 72 hours before applying.

  3. Authentication: Log in using your OTR number. The system will pull your stored data to minimize manual entry.
