IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 11,403 Customer Service Associate (CSA) Vacancies (CRP CSA-XVI)

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the detailed notification for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP CSA-XVI) for recruitment to Customer Service Associate (CSA) positions (popularly known as Bank Clerks) in participating public sector banks for the 2027–28 vacancy cycle. A total of 11,403 indicative vacancies have been announced across multiple public sector banks pan-India.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification (As on 21st August 2026)

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification.
  • The graduation final result/marksheet must have been declared on or before 21st August 2026.
  • Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge of computer systems is mandatory (Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations or having studied computer as a subject in High School/College).
  • Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must be fluent to read, write, speak, and understand the official/local language of the State/UT they are applying for.

2. Age Limit (As on 1st August 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years
  • Candidate Birth Span: Must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1998 and not later than 1st August 2006 (both dates inclusive).

3. Age Relaxations

  • Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 5 Years
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Actual service period plus 3 years (up to 50 years of age)

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection methodology comprises a Preliminary Examination, a Main Examination, and a subsequent Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).
